The Automatic Sprinkler Company of America was formed in 1910 by the consolidation of four smaller companies. Incorporation was in New York with production in Youngtown, Ohio. John A Coakley bought the company in 1926 and sold it to Harry Figgie Jr. in 1963. The company was relocated in 1967.
