Thomas B Bennett bought the A J Wood Manufacturing Company in 1920. Wood made grease pumps for gas stations in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The new company was the Bennett Injector Company until 1924/1925. The name was changed to the Bennet Pump Company. This company was sold to the Service Station Equipment Company in 1928.
