Corsair wood plane

Samuel Jacoff established the Great Neck Saw Company in Pittsfield, Massachusetts in 1919. The first product was a hacksaw blade. The company merges with Great Neck Manufacturing in 1929. The Jacoff family still owns Great Neck Manufacturing today.

The Corsair trademark was granted on May 4, 1945 with first use declared as August 23, 1942.

The company owns the Buck Brothers name.
