Grand Specialties was a manufacturer of door stops, clamps, vises, and lift trucks. Michael J Sasgen established the Sasgen Derrick Company in Chicago in 1913 and Grand Specialties in 1921. The first product was a flip-down door stop. A quick-adjust C clamp was added followed by the Quickcet vise in the 1940s. Hand trucks were also made.
The company is still in business today making door stops.
