Lyman M Kanavel of Killbuck, Ohio received patent number 1,169,833 for a combination wrench/wire stretcher. The patent date is February 1, 1916. Francis G Buswell was one of the witnesses listed on the patent. He was involved with another combination wrench/wire stretcher. That tool was never manufactured. Records exist for the wrench company in Ohio government databases for 1917. No records were found after that.
