Doing It Right Since 1916
The Littlestown Hardware & Foundry Company was incorporated in 1916 by Luther D Snyder, Emory H Snyder, and Sheldon K Abel. This would have been just in time for war production. Light gray castings appeared in supply catalogs by 1925. Listings for vises began by 1929. The second war effort saw the company making castings for hand grenades in huge numbers. Vise production ended in 1990. The company is still in business today producing aluminum castings.
