The Lydon Manufacturing Company of Chicago, Illinois produced Lynamite Spark plugs. The company was incorporated in 1913 by S Donahue, F M Donahue, and W E Lyons. The first product was the “Speedler”. This decide was installed in the intake manifold after the carburetor. The driver could allow additional outside air into the engine when desired.
Advertising for Lynamite spark plugs was common between 1920 and 1928. Sales were handled by hardware supply companies.
